PROBIOTICS

For general health maintenance we only recommend short term use of probiotics and supplements. In most cases correct eating/food will adjust your microbiome (gut bacteria) and maintain a healthy gut. However, specific disease and health conditions may affect a person to the degree that probiotics may certainly help and produce positive results. For this reason we have decided to list some that we have used and had good responses from.

BUT! Some people may have adverse effects when taking probiotics. We advise you email us before proceeding to buy any as we may be able to provide more guidance and help, this could save you money or optimise results by suggesting a combination of food and herbs instead of probiotics, or in combination with probiotics.

The below products link to respective pages where you can read more information and in some cases purchase yourself. Other specialist products must be ordered through a health practitioner, in this case please contact us regarding ordering on your behalf.

RestorFlora™ is a probiotic that combines three well-studied and widely used probiotic strains – Saccharomyces boulardii, Bacillus subtilis, and Bacillus clausii. This combination of clinically studied, friendly probiotic yeast and probiotic bacteria offers comprehensive digestive flora support with an advanced, dual-action approach to maintain a healthy intestinal environment. Saccharomyces boulardii is well-studied and extensively used for its ability to support digestion and immune function. However, a product containing only S. boulardii has limitations with regards to other probiotic functions. RestorFlora™ represents a significant advancement that overcomes these limitations with the addition of Bacillus subtilis HU58™ and Bacillus clausii SC109. RestorFlora™ has the ability to effectively colonize in the digestive tract in order to provide immune support.

Some people have reported adverse reactions to this and others have found this to be wonderful. Each person is unique and will have a different response depending on their individual existing conditions and needs. This probiotic has some interesting studies to support its claims for improving gut bacteria, improving blood triglycerides, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). There is also possible evidence from a study with rats that it may also protect and promote a healthy liver.
